Spot #1: Air Source Adapter (ASA)

If air is escaping from between the ASA and your CO2 bottle, or perhaps from the tiny hole located on the underside of the ASA directly in front of the CO2 bottle, then your CO2 bottle's o-ring needs to be replaced.

Spot #2: Gas Line Threads

If air is escaping from the fitting threads, replace the o-ring on the fitting or try Teflon tape.

Spot #3: Fitting Coupler

If air is escaping from the fitting coupler, tighten the fitting to create a seal.

Spot #4: Expansion Chamber

If air is escaping from between the Expansion chamber and the Vertical ASA, replace the o-ring on the Expansion chamber.

Spot #5: Low Pressure Chamber

If air is escaping from the point where the volumizer threads into the vertical ASA, replace the o-ring on the Low Pressure Chamber.

Spot #6:

If air is escaping from the point where the vertical ASA inserts into the main body, replace both o-rings on the vertical ASA.

Spot #7: Barrel/Vertical feed

If air is escaping from the barrel or vertical feed area, this indicates that air is leaking past the cup seal and/or main valve. Make sure you cock your bolt back into the firing position before connecting your air source.

If you have cocked your bolt back into the firing position before connecting your air source and air continues to leak, replace the cup seal and valve o-rings. If this does not solve the problem, then the entire main valve needs to be replaced also.
